"2550 days"

Dear Five Doves (Bruce Warner),

Warm greetings in Christ!

I was serendipitously excited to find your website that projects 2550 days of tribulation between 2014 and 2021. I looked at the calendar months ago while studying this and found exactly 2550 also, but my results differ from the way you made your calculations, and I thought you might be interested in how methodology potentially alters the outcome.

In your website http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/nov2011/brucew1125.htm.
you show a start date of Sept 26 for the Feast of Trumpets. This is incorrect and this throws your whole equation out of kilter! It makes his math not add up correctly. There is nothing wrong with using 365.25 formula, but if your start date for the Feast of Trumpets is Sept 26, then there are only 2548 days to the Day of Atonement! The correct number of tribulation days needs to begin and end on the correct feast days, and in the case of F.O.T. it needs to begin on Sept 24th. If your start date is Sept 24th, then there are exactly 2550 days of tribulation that end on Sept 16, 2021 on the Day of Atonement.

Using a broad calculation method that multiplies 7 x 365.25 always produces 2550 days because it is based on simple arithmetic, and the math by itself does not account for when these feast days occur on the calendar. We can multiply 7 x 365.25 tomorrow and it will always equal 2550. The critical component is not the math that produces 2550 days, but finding these days in a seven year period falling on the correct calendar feast days of Feast of Trumpets and Day of Atonement!

The start date here is critical to making these calculations.

As you already well know, the Feast of Trumpets is a 48-hour observance time, which begins the evening before the first day of celebration. Feast of Trumpets this year is observed on Sept 25/26, but it begins at sunset (1834 Hrs Jerusalem time) on the 24th of Sept. The first 24 hrs runs from sunset on the 24th to sunset on the 25th. The second 24 hrs runs from sunset on the 25th to sunset on the 26th, and this totals 48 hrs. Looking at the calendar this deceptively appears to look like three days because it runs from Sept 24 to Sept 26, but these are not whole days. These are 2 days of 48 hrs from sunset to sunset during a three-day period. But it begins on Sept 24th at sunset.

There are different calendars and thus different ways to calculate this depending on the calendar that is used. In the long haul they are all relatively accurate. By that I mean it doesn't matter whether we are using a biblical 360-day calendar, a Gregorian calendar, or a Julian calendar as long as the dates fall on the right feast days, and the number of days being examined exactly match what scripture tells us. All calendars must show Christmas falling on Dec 25.Your example of 1260 plus 1290 is a perfect example of this because it covers a Hebrew leap year which is added to 7 x 360-day years, otherwise there would only be 2520 days, and that would be incorrect.

The same holds true here with regard to the 7-year tribulation. If the start and end dates fall on the right feast days and the exact number of allotted days match what scripture tells us, then we are on solid ground. With this in mind, the rapture would have to occur on Feast of Trumpets, and the Second coming must occur after 2550 days of tribulation, ending on the Day of Atonement.

Those requirements need to be in the mix if the equation meets scripture.  As you accurately point out, not all seven-year periods of time allow these requirements to be met. In examining all of these variables for the 2014-2021 seven years I found there were exactly 2550 days! This is phenomenally very exciting! You and I both come to the same results, that there are 2550 days, however, the start date is a critical component and if you count one day at a time on the calendar, you will see there are only 2548 days in your methodology if your start date occurs on Sept 26th.

As you correctly point out, this alignment of dates and feasts does not happen within every seven-year period, and thus the prescribed number of days will not end on the Day of Atonement. As I understand it, this precise alignment of dates only happens every few hundred year cycles. It does happen, but it is like 4 consecutive blood moons in a 12-month period of time; they are rare.

For example, those who have studied this say there won't be another cycle of 4-blood moons and 2-solar eclipses falling on Jewish holy days like there is in 2014-2015 for the next five hundred and twenty some years.

I am attaching a Word doc that i used to manually count each day on the calendar from 2014 Feast of Trumpets to 2021 Day of Atonement. The days add up to 2550 beginning on Sept 24th. Check it out and see if you agree with my arithmetic, and let me know what you think.

God bless you my friend! I look forward to meeting you on the other side!
