The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come: Acts 2:20Luis Vega has captured the interest of many with a series of studies identifying six and five pointed star patterns that have or will appear in the sky. For example he found that a six pointed star pattern made up of the planets will occur for the 13th time between July 22nd and August 26th, 2013. Of interest is that both six and thirteen pointed star patterns have been thought by many to be the shape of the expected "mark of the beast".After this 13th star pattern Luis found the pattern will not repeat for over 100 years. In addition, Luis published an article titled, "The Lion’s Gate - Planetary Pentagram Alignment Portal" regarding the date July 29th, 2013 and a five pointed star pattern. These are all tied in with the series of four total lunar eclipses that occur one after another exactly on Passover 2014, then Tabernacles 2014, then Passover 2015, and finally on Tabernacles 2015. This finding of what has been called "Blood Moon Tetrads" was announced by Mark Biltz in April of 2008.At the time of the announcement, this finding gave needed support to the interpretation of Daniel's 70 week prophecy that it predicted Messiah would return 7 weeks of years after June 7, 1967. It was found using 49 times 360 day years the date fell exactly on Yom Kippur, 2015.Isaac Newton has been credited with pointing out that it does injustice to the scriptures to add together the 7 weeks and 62 weeks of years in Daniel's 70 week prophecy as have the majority throughout history. He also stated that it would be for a later time that the 7 weeks would be fulfilled. However, as far as the author can determine, it was not until 2003 that this was applied counting from June 7, 1967.Now, regardless how intriguing we find the various heavenly geometric configurations, whether forming six pointed or five pointed stars, crosses, or full moons in a row on Jewish Holy days, the author has not found any of these particular configurations prophesied to be watched in the Bible. What the author has found is the following quite precise and descriptive prophecy:The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come: Acts 2:20The rather simple interpretation is before the great and notable day of the Lord, it will be marked astronomically by first a total eclipse of the sun followed shortly by a total eclipse of the moon.Now, many dates were described in history by astronomical events. The death of Herod the Great for example after a lunar eclipse. Here we have two total eclipses one right after another and in a particular order. The shortest period of time between a solar and lunar eclipse is around 15 days, as the moon needs to move to the other side of the earth.It is a simple matter to look for such an event throughout history. In the decade from 2010 through 2020 such an event happens once. From 2020 to 2030 it doesn't happen at all. And from 2030 to 2040 it again happens only once. So, given a certain decade, one can narrow down pretty quickly when such an event occurs. The one event occuring this decade will be on Passover 2015.
