If he is indeed the anti-christ, could he not be the fulfillment of this part of Daniel: 11 “From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. In looking at this it seems that the "daily sacrifice" to me is Jesus Christ. When this was given to Daniel, it was still necessary for animal sacrifice at the temple. But, Jesus is our daily (the hebrew is actually perpetual, which would point moreso to Jesus than animals) sacrifice. If the leader of the end times "Christian Nation under God" elects and swears in the anti-christ, then it may be said that "Jesus" (our daily sacrifice) is abolished (done away with) and the abomination (Obama-nation) is set up (or, sworn in office)...there will be 1290 days. Think of this...the first picture of anti-christ was Antiochus Epiphanes. The Jews were God's people, and he came in an took the sacrifice away. Now, in these end times, the United States is the "Christian" nation - God's country. One big difference that ought to really scare those of us who live in this country....we elected him (the anti-christ) to office. This is the day that the wilderness generation ceased dying off, and knew they were finally ready to enter into the promised land. In contrast, David, as king of Israel under God, when he was found with inequity as a murderer and adulterer, submitted himself in faith to God's servant and prophet Nathan, and humbly accepted judgment. Later, in his life, David did this again as he counted the armies, and accepted God's judgment, which led to the threshing floor on Mount Moriah - the mercy seat. Even though He cannot lower His standard, He paid the price for us with His own life. That is love. So, Satan now is going about his claim that God is not the creator, or the only creator. This is not gnostisism or blurring the lines, etc. It is blantently saying to God "you are irrelevant, don't exist...I am my own god." It is the utter abomination. It was Obama who declared: At a press conference in Turkey, President Obama casually rebuked the old chestnut that the United States is a Judeo-Christian nation. "One of the great strengths of the United States," the President said, "is ... we have a very large Christian population -- we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values." Look at the quote carefully. He is crossing out religion, and instead stating an aethiestic statment. Look at the dates, and timelines mentioned in Daniel, laid over the top of these occurrences. Do you think this is a coincidence? Also, I look at the days of the week on these occurrences. Wednesday is a right to rule day. The 4th day or the candlestick in the middle of the menorah. Friday is a day that means "Venus." It is after "Frigg" the "queen" of "heaven." This is a day in fulfillment of Isaiah 22 and also like Vashti and Esther. Friday is said to be the Muslim's version of the Christian Sunday. Rosh Hashanah falls on Monday. Monday means "moon" day. Perfect. It falls on the new moon, the moon is the bride, and Sunday (Sun or Son/Jesus) is right next to His bride, the very next day Monday, or "moon" day.
