I hear you big time.  My precious Dad passed into glory four years ago and he was the one who taught me most of what I know and we always had wonderful discussions about Jesus and the Lord and all things spiritual.  I miss him so very much.
I agree - it is getting harder and harder to find anybody who really wants to discuss these things.  Like you - I am very grateful for this site and a couple of others that provide much needed spiritual nourishment and a focus on our most blessed hope of all.
My family say I have a "death wish" because I'd prefer to be in Heaven than here on earth - I call it - a "life wish"!
