"The
Dow and Investing"
The closing bell is just about to sound
and the Dow should end up losing around 600 points. What's
fascinating to me is how all of those interviewed today say
something to the effect of, "Don't panic" or "Stay in for the
long term" or "It will surely rebound". Hardly anyone thinks
that long-term devastation could take place, or that the United
States could be in real trouble. Reminds me of the brazen Romans
thinking their domination of the world could never end. Love the
quote, "The only thing men have learned from history is that we
don't learn from history". And "There is nothing new under the
sun. All that has been will be". Thank God we have security with
Him and that we don't rely on ourselves.
Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches
certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle
toward heaven. Proverbs: 23:5
