I did some more Internet searching and found a good book that introduces the practices of the ancients for the 21st century. It is titled: Traditions of the Ancients: Vintage Faith Practices for the 21st Century. ($11.99)

You apparently have the gift of tears. I thought this book might provide information that was widely known in times long past but is now almost totally forgotten.
