Hi Doves,
I believe the resurrection/translation of the saints will occur on the 30th of August 2011 [29th of Tammuz], the correct Day of Pentecost.
The reason being that the tremendous amount of power the Lord will unleash on the earth, to bring about the resurrection/translation, is enough, on its own, to cause darkness at noon and a blood red moon.
It's also enough to cause tsunamis and earthquakes all over the world at the same time!
We see a similar thing occur on the 14th of Nisan 33 AD, the Day the Lord was crucified.
"Now from the six hour [noon] until the ninth hour [1500 hrs] there was darkness over all the land." [Matt.27:45]
There was so much power being released by God, as Jesus remained nailed to the cross for six hours, that it caused total darkness for three hours, from noon, all over Israel.
"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it [the cross] is the power of God." [1Cor.1:18]
I believe the same thing will happen again at Pentecost on the 30th of August 2011 [29th of Tammuz].
It didn't happen on the 29th of Tammuz 33 AD, because the Apostles received the Holy Spirit as a down payment.
Today we are in the Last of the Last Days, and the Lord is about to make the full payment of the Holy Spirit on His Bride, the Church.
This time, all over the world, that Day will be preceded by darkness at midday and a red moon!
"But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said...this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel...the sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord." [Acts 2:14,16, 20]
Could it be a period of darkness will occur three days before the resurrection/translation of saints, the same way it happened three days before the Lord's resurrection?
Could the day of darkness occur on Sunday, the 28th of August 2011 [27th of Tammuz], with the rapture happening three days later, on Tuesday, the 30th of August 2011?
It's interesting to note that Dr Owuor's Geneva Conference will end on Sunday, the 28th of August 2011.
Is this a sign?
We don't have long to find out!
