Hello, John and Doves,Here is a passage that is pivotal in deciding beyond any reasonable doubt where we are in the prophetic scheme of things.
"Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and [by] our gathering together unto him, 2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away (Apostasia g646) first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple (naos g3485) of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked (One) be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9[Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."
2 Thess 2:1-12 KJV
As we compare this scripture with history, we can see that the voters who voted for "change," whatever that means,
exhibited a certain, peculiar "falling away" from reason and truth. "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie...." [v. 11]
Where is the proof? We true believers look to the return of "this same Jesus." [Acts 1:11] Let's see what the AC says about this. Is there not an audio recording somewhere, plus a written transcription, that preserves a particularly self-serving gem of Man's wisdom?
The man of lawlessness said, "We are the ones we have been waiting for." [February 5, 2008, Super Tuesday--quoted by Barack Hussein Obama from the works of Alice Walker] Balderdash! Bullocks! And yet, many people believed this lie as if it were verily their eau de vie. Indeed, BHO is our 44th President--by whatever route he took to get to Super Tuesday, 2008 and beyond. Nevertheless, let us be about the LORD's business. The time is short.
In comparison and contrast to verse 4 [Who opposeth and exalteth himself....], we Doves wait only for the Lamb of God--Jesus Christ--who was crucified and killed to pay the penalty for our sins, who laid in the grave for "three days and three nights," and who rose on the third day, by the power of God Most High.
It is written:
"I, yes, I am the LORD,
and there is no other Savior." Isaiah 43:11
Again, it is written,
"Do not tremble; do not be afraid.
Did I not proclaim my purposes for you long ago?
You are my witnesses--Is there any other God?
No! There is no other Rock--not one!" Isaiah 44:8
So, then, the question becomes, "Why are we still here, three years into Daniel's seventieth week?"
The answer is simple. Jesus comes for His Bride on a Tuesday, the third day of the week. Get it? The third day/year is the third day/year of the 70th week! Of course, if we're still here in 5772, all this falls apart. But I wouldn't count on going before or after Rosh Hashanah, 5772--which falls on September 29-30, 2011. God likes His appointed times.
It is written,
"The LORD said to Moses, 'Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. On the first day of the appointed month in early autumn, you are to observe a day of complete rest. It will be an official day for holy assembly, a day commemorated with loud blasts of a trumpet. You must do no ordinary work on that day. Instead, you are to present special gifts to the LORD."
Guess what? The Bride of Christ qualifies a gift from Israel to the LORD, because the Church officially began with 3,000 Jews being saved on Pentecost, 33 AD. Thus, when the Bride is complete, she will be presented to the LORD.
Nevertheless, the complete harvest of this age is not complete until Tabernacles, 5776--which is September 28, 2015.
