Thank you for such a well-thought-out response. I hadn't even read the original letter. I'm saving your post as a reference and will look for opportunities to share it with others. I have a ton of bookmarks on my computer in hopes that, when we are out of here :), someone will be able to find God's truth by looking through them. I've just added your post to that list as well.

You echoed so much of what I've always believed: we ALL struggle with something; sin in one form or another, and the answer to our "sin problem" is never to legitimize it or excuse it, but to allow our holy God to make us holy, as He is holy. When we seek Him, He is faithful to do just that.
