Doves,
Just to correct something regarding my post yesterday: http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/aug2011/kevinh82.htm. It does not affect the calculated Easter 2012 date.
In the subsection titled the Venus Star Cycle and the Moon, I stated that if you see Venus and the moon in a particular place in the sky that 1215 years later, you will see it there again. While that may sometimes occur, I meant to say that if Venus and the SUN were in a particular place in the sky, you would see them together 1215.0276 years later in generally the same place. Positionally speaking in reference to the greater precessional cycle of Venus, the accumulated precession of one lunar year of 354.367 days distance would occur at 1213.3 years, but since there isn’t a completion of the star cycle of Venus unless the total conjunction periods are divisible by 5 and the total solar years plus one is divisible by 8, there isn’t a conjunction at the 1213.3 interval. So at 1215 years, the actual precessional cycle of Venus has accumulated one lunar year, regardless of where the moon is along the Mazzaroth. Here are the calculations. The preferred value, based on Daniel’s Vision I believe is the Tropical Period as the person described at least the sun at its southernmost and northernmost tropic. The last recorded words of Jesus in the Bible is Rev 22:16 KJV - I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, [and] the bright and morning star.
In Christ,
Kevin Heckle
