I just wanted to let you know that I agree with
you 100%. There are two obvious promises in the scriptures,
which today are scoffed at inside and outside the Church. 1.The
Promise Land, nope they (the Jews) are occupiers. 2. The Blessed
Hope ( looking for our Great God and Savior, Jesus Christ) nope
the wrath poured out on Christ wasn't enough, we need to go into
the tribulation period. I need to be more purified by the
tribulation. The promise to the Jews and the promise to the
Church under attack. Many people considered Kenneth Wiest
(spelling) one of the better Greek scholars of the 20th century.
He said that it was a word expressing movement as in physical
such as getting on a bus..going from one physical location to
another..an the article "the" made it specific (my strong suit
is not English, so if my grammar terms are wrong so be it), but
"the" made that departure a certain departure. My understanding
is there where actually 6 translations before the KJV which had
the departure? I think you mentioned five. My understand is that
these epistles ( 1st and 2nd Thess.) was perhaps the first that
Paul put on paper? He was writing to warn them not to pay
attention to this forged letter..didn't I tell you that that day
can't come until the departure comes first. Apostasy has taken
place since Christ ascended into Heaven, so there has been a
falling away since day one. I don't believe anywhere in that
area of scripture is faith per say being mentioned . It is
talking about the man of sin and the Day of the Lord coming upon
this world. God is about to declare war on this world and even
in this world before wars are fought countries call their
Ambassadors home first. My bible tells me that "I am an
Ambassador of Christ". Keep Looking Up, Jimmy
