Most of the prophecy people of name and note today believe that the rapture will be at the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel because they the believe that, it is pre-tribulation and that the 7 years period is the same time frame as the tribulation.  Therefore, they conclude, we must be taken before day 1 of the 70th week of Daniel.  I do agree that the rapture is pre-GREAT tribulational, because we are told that we will not enter into God’s wrath.  The GREAT tribulation is just that, God’s wrath.  God’s wrath is also clearly the second half of the tribulation period.  It does not say that the Church, the redeemed will escape the first half of the 70th WEEK OF DANIEL, however.

Here is why I do NOT agree with the vast number of prophecy teachers and scholars today about the 7 year tribulation period being yet future.

1.    The “tribulation period” identified by the prophet Daniel and confirmed in the Revelation of Jesus Christ is 7 prophetic years of 360 days each.  It is divided into 2 periods of time, each 1,260 days.  The center of the time is the day that the antichrist proclaims himself to be God.
2.    The first ½ of the time period is called the “tribulation”.  The second ½ of the time period is called the GREAT tribulation.  It is also called the time of the “wrath of God”.  It is almost universally agreed that the true Church, the body of Christ will not go through this 1,260 days period of time.
3.    This period of time, the entire 7 years is for Israel’s sake.  It is the “time of Jacob’s trouble”, it is the time when God returns to Israel and away from the gentiles with His dealings, and it is the end of the “times of the gentiles”.
4.    Daniel received a further message, which is recorded in chapter 12 of his book that 75 additional days would be added to the last ½ of the time period making the entire second half total to 1,335 days.  This 75 days period is divided into 2 periods; 30 days and 45 days.  Adding these 75 days makes the entire period of 2,595 days (1,260 days + 1,260 days + 75 days).  
5.    During the first ½ of the period, “birth pangs” occur in ever increasing intensity for Israel, that also engulf the gentile world.  Increasing numbers of natural events such as earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, tornadoes, hurricanes, water spouts, droughts, etc occur with increasing intensity.
6.    Unbelief blossoms like a rose.  The Jews are in the land in unbelief, the gentiles reject all that is called God, and the political elite deceive each other and are deceived by each other.  They dig holes in the ground to escape the coming judgment of the time in which they see these things.
7.    Signs in the heaven above abound.  There is a comet currently on course to affect the earth greatly, some believe, this September.  Right on the Feast of Rosh Hashana, no less,  THIS CANNOT BE ACCIDENTAL OR COINCEDENTAL.  Some believe that there is a huge body accompanying the comet coming on its heels that will finish the job God intends and will cause His great wrath to occur.  This coincides with the second half of the 70th week of Daniel, as detailed above.

So now, why do I NOT believe that we are at the beginning of the 7 years period, but rather in it?  Simply because I believe that God gave us a message in the book of Genesis which He called in Matthew 24 the “sign of Noah”.

Here is the sign:

“As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it also be in the days of the coming of the Son of Man”.  

1.    In the days of Noah, they ate, drank, gave in marriage and married.  So it is in our day also.
2.    But, also in the days of Noah, Noah was given 120 years of 360 days in which to prepare an ark for the saving of his household.  He used them expeditiously, because when the rains came, it was seaworthy.  Just so, I believe that He, God, has given Israel, WHO IS THE SUBJECT OF THE 7 YEARS TRIBULATION PERIOD,  the same length of time to complete herself before YHWH in preparation for her, Israel to enter the Kingdom.

Simple mathematics shows us that 120 x 360 = 43,200.  This is the number of 24 hour periods Noah had to prepare for the coming destruction.

Simple mathematics shows us that 120 years of 360 days or 43,200 days applying to regathered Israel is a perfect match to the days of Noah and is being repeated in our time.  This to me, is clear indication of WHEN the 70th week of Daniel is on the calendar.  Let’s count 43,200 days for “reborn” Israel in our day.  After 1, 800 + years YHWH recalled His covenant people back again, ending the great dispora which began in 70.

Israel was “reborn” as it were on August 31, 1897, when Theodor Herzel formed the Jewish (Zionist) Congress and set forth the proposal that Jews return to Palestine.  He offered to buy up the Ottoman Empire’s national debt in exchange for the Turk’s agreement.  The British Empire supported this in  return for the Jewish support of their war with the Ottomans.  Of course, Herzel could not buy up the debt, but England was impressed and stepped in.  Then came WW1 at the end of which General Edmund Allenby opened Palestine for the Jews crossing over the Jordan river on December 9, 1917 and entering Jerusalem on December 11, 1917.
The League of Nations in 1922 gave England oversight of the holy land.

Jews went back in small numbers until the end of WW2, when, after the discovery of Nazi Germany’s “final solution” which murdered 6,000,000 Jews and others in the furnaces and gas chambers resulted in the United Nations, successor to the defunct League of Nations caused Israel to reborn as Israel May 14, 1948.  After this, came the 6 day war and Jerusalem became Jewish again.

Now, the very existence of Israel is being challenged by the United Nations.  Her enemies have surrounded her just as God said they would and the Gog/Magog war appears to be on the horizon.  So far, there have been 41,618 days expended as of August 9, 2011.  That leaves 1,582 days left of occur, before Israel enters the Kingdom Age.  

From August 31, 1897 through and including December 8, 2015 is 43,200 days.  This ending time matches PERFECTLY the tetrads of eclipses identified by Mark Biltz and others to the day, when the 75 days of Daniel 12 are added.  From September 23, 2015 until December 8, 2015 is the 75 days found in Daniel 12.  THE FIT IS SO PERFECT, THAT IS SIMPLY CANNOT BE ACCIDENTAL OR COINCIDENTAL AT ALL!!!!

Noah’s day:  …………..120 years x 360 days per year………..43,200 days

Israel’ day 8/31/1897………………..43,200 days………………………12/8/2015

This proves, as far as I can see, and IMO, that we are well into the 70th week of Daniel’s prophecy with only 246 days remaining until the abomination appears.  This is not much time.  As I said in my post 3 days ago, Vincent Tan’s 234, if it applies here, will make August 21, 2011 a real watch date, as there are exactly 324 days left to mid point April 11/12, 2012.  Just 7 days before this date is August 14/15, 2011, Tu B’Av, the lovely day.  I theorized in my last post that this day may start a 7 days “call into the ark” as it was in Noah’s day.  This means, if true, that the 40 days period from August 21/22, 2011 until September 29/30, 2011 will be a time corresponding to the time of steady rains of sudden destruction.  We’ll see.  If this passes, then we need to look to Rosh Hashana in September as the next watch time.
