I just caught the last half hour or so of the event on the Lincoln Memorial. I know it was billed as an 'honor America' type event, but it was most definitely conducted as a 'church service'.

Part of me cringed watching the crowd with obvious Evangelicals raising their hands in Praise during prayers or gospel songs. They were joining with those who do not know our God. I also think some of those religious leaders, some of the politicians (I only recognized Sarah Palin), might have realized too late what they were getting into. She did not look comfortable when they were singing "Amazing Grace".

The only thing positive I got/felt, was when the gospel singers were praising Jesus, I thought of our Lord sitting amongst the lost, washing them in His love...and I hoped, for those around those grounds who honestly do not know Jesus, they would cry out to Him and hear His voice. Yes, I fear that some will follow Glenn to Mormonism...but I pray that our God is bigger than that...and He will cut through the confusion that the enemy is trying to create. I pray that they can avoid the trap, the snare that the enemy is laying this day under the guise of the Red, White & Blue.

A prayer of protection on all those there this day. I trust their hearts were in the right place, and that the ONE TRUE GOD, our LORD JESUS CHRIST will touch them and they will know Him.
