"Prayers going out...and a request."
To Chrissa Beck for the heart rate
problem...may it be nothing more than heat, dehydration or any number
of easily fixable things.
To all Doves watching, counting days, looking for signs and knowing the wonders to come, Peace and Understanding.
To
those having more and frequent/meaningful dreams, remember to note each
detail, every feeling and keep a journal if you can (I sometimes won't
remember a dream until I'm laying down to go to sleep and one from the
previous night will pop into my head)...there are basic psychological
meanings of the symbols of dreams, knowing those will help you realize
what you are worried about (we all do worry), and can help you to know
where you need prayer. Of course, when in doubt, just ask The Holy
Spirit to pray for you.
To those much more mature in their
Christian walk, those much more learned in the ways of the Lord and in
His Word, thank you for sharing your wisdom and insight with us all.
I
had a very upsetting day a few days back, and just having the ability
to write a note to John here at Five Doves gave me a feeling of relief
and release (and a very quick resolution to the problem). Thank you him
for being a sounding board, and for having this place as a refuge...
and
on that note, let me ask for Prayer within my family...my grown kids
are all trying to get their educations/careers/lives going, and as we
all know, the financial situation in this country is so
uncertain...please pray for us all to find some security in our lives
financially (my future son-in-law has been job hunting for months now).
For me and my husband, I want us to be ready for his retirement, debts
settled, to enjoy the time we have left here without the worries of
daily living (I'm having very expensive/necessary dental work done,
which we really cannot afford). Even though I am technically 'disabled'
from 3 cervical spine surgeries, I am thinking about trying to get a
part time after hours job at the new Kohl's they are opening here in
the Fall...I could apply for permanent disability, but being a stay at
home mom most my adult life, I'd only bring in about $300 a month (if
they'd approve it). My next round of dental stuff will be another
$2000. out of pocket (on top of the $2000 I'm paying off now).
sheesh....maybe those wacky 'liquid diets' aren't such a bad idea after
all, huh? *if it weren't for the fact that these are bottom teeth and
hubby is the coroner and has worked cases of the deceased suffering
from an infection that went from jaw to heart, I'd let it all go)*
So, as we all pray for each other, let us all see our basic needs met, and our extraordinary situations handled as God sees fit.
Blessings to all~
