OH MY!! Or how 'bout a HEART? Or even corneas? My husband is the coroner of our county, he works with the local organ & tissue donor program. I even had 'donor bone' in my neck!!

I'm such a goof, I was talking to my husband about this last night. I broke it down simply:

We believe in an actual, PHYSICAL resurrection, just as Jesus was, that's why the 'graves open'.
Since NOTHING is ever really 'destroyed', but only 'changed' (decay, burning, etc), all that made up that person are literally 'still out there' somewhere.

I didn't think of the organ donor scenario...I guess since 'Shark Week' just passed (my daughter is terrified of them, so she'd yelp every time the commercials came on!), I thought of this...

What if, a Christian is swimming in the ocean, a shark bites his leg off, and it's IN the shark! Does it just evaporate as the Rapture happens, or, like the graves, will it have to 'open up' to allow it to be reunited with the swimmer? *eep*

Also, I was thinking of Lazarus. Remember how his sisters were mourning, and even cautioned Jesus, since so much time had past, his body would already be decaying...yet Jesus called him forth...and he came out WHOLE...no putrid flesh. Wasn't there also an EARTHQUAKE too? Think about it...without losing your lunch, if you know anything about the way the body breaks down after death, even in the cool temps of a rock hewn tomb...he was decaying. *gonna get gross again*...if anyone has ever caught a whiff of 'something dead', that is the body breaking down, letting off fumes...basically minute pieces of the actual BODY become airborne. IF Lazarus was at the normal stage of a 3 days dead human being, and all those 'bits and pieces' were reunited and reanimated...what kind of cosmic/physic reaction would that create? Showing my 'geek' background, it would be a 'major tremor in the force'!! Imagine what kind of 'disruption'  a multitude of people suddenly 'called forth' would cause!

You know, some Christians in Hollywood need to make THAT into a movie!!

I know Believers don't want to risk being wrong or leading anyone astray, but showing a 'what if' possibility would be better than not addressing it at all.

I am convinced though that the 'sudden destruction' that will accompany the Rapture will be 'supernatural' other than 'man made'. Some have said, 'natural disaster' (like an earthquake, but it will be global), or an asteroid hitting the earth, a pole shift, or even solar flares...all are possible individually or even in some combination (earthquakes will trigger tsunamis)...but I don't think it will be 'world war', since that will be 'man's doing'...and I think it will be very obvious that it is GOD's doing. I also think that whatever happens, the loss of so many people will be swept under the carpet and hidden by the AC and his minions. We've already seen how the mainstream media is at the beck and call of the White House, imagine when a full on Spiritual influence is controlling them!

I can't wait for my husband to come home, I'll have to pose that 'donor' scenario to him! Wow!!
