I've not been watching Glenn as regularly as I had been....so I hadn't noticed just how 'religious' he'd become on his tv show. I love how he takes History apart, and his guests are always knowledgeable. Love "Founder's Fridays". The 8/28 program sounds like a wonderful gathering. BUT, I had not heard him talk about the event being held on 8/27 until a friend (the one who led me here), sent me an email with his concerns. He also sent me this link:

I have not been to Glenn's website, and I don't know what 'spiritual leaders' are planning on attending his event. I know he's had some Christian people on his show, and I'd thought for awhile that he sounded more 'Christian' than 'Mormon'. When I was younger, I knew that they would not usually say "God", but instead, "Heavenly Father"...plus there were other things that Glenn has said lately that made me remark to my husband that it sounds like he's trying to get excommunicated from his *what do they call their collective?* Anyway, I guess I haven't been paying attention because some of the things he's saying are 'turning me off'...hmmmm.

It will be interesting to see just who does show up for this event. I wonder if it will be televised?
