Glenn Beck can spout the constitution and quote the founding fathers all day long and it won't matter.  Our government is corrupt, it is organized to keep the corrupt politicans in power and it is too far gone to change.  The only message that is valid for today is that we are in the end of the end times and Jesus is about to return to remove all of us who belong to Him and bring judgment to a sick and decadent world.

 

Imagine the outcry if Beck were to preach those words.  The masses would swarm the studio and take him away.

 

We are told not to love this world or the things in it, and trying to forge a world to our liking is futile.  Mankind is corrupt, greedy and full of sin, and the Word says that in this world we will have tribulation.

 

We need to stop looking to the government to make things better, stop trying to forge our own version of the world, be prepared for persecution if we remain here much longer, and stop wasting our time marching on Washington and trying to throw the bums out.  They are all bums.  The founding fathers were sinners like all of us and there was likely as much animosity between rival parties then as there is now.  Stop getting all teary eyed over the flag and worship Jesus. 

 

We just need to fall on our knees and pray and let God do the changing that needs to be done.  Glenn Beck is not the answer.
