"To Frank and all concerning the "remove the wedding dress" video"
This video states that we should not expect the rapture pre-trib because God did not exempt his
servants from suffering in earlier years, or even today. So why should we expect to be removed
before the tribulation?
First of all, Jesus did say to pray to be delivered from evil, and to "escape all of these things". Many
people did NOT have this prayer answered, it's true; they suffered before they died and went to Heaven.
This is not a reason why saints today should suffer too. There is no NEED for further suffering of the saints
unless, of course, they need suffering to wake up to reality. We all know how our own suffering has
awakened us. Sometimes over and over we have needed to be awakened, and to learn more about
our reality.
Yet Jesus did command us to pray for deliverance from evil and escape from "all these things" that are coming.
Perhaps this is a paradox we cannot solve, just have to trust Him?
I have always felt, however, that the tribulation at the End of the Age provides, and will continue to provide,
NEW reasons for needing escape. These are the kind of reasons which George Orwell presented in the book
"1984". These are the tools which evil rulers now possess to brainwash people. To go beyond torture to techniques
which actually alter minds, by chemicals or electronics, which make the victim's mind not his own. A person,
according to Orwell, in the New World will not be able to even DISLIKE Big Brother; he will be forced by
technology to LOVE Big Brother.
We see the precursors of this. We have gone beyond the sword and the bullet to much more proficient technological
means
to force compliance. Already these things are here, in their
early stages. One of these things, for instance, is
the grip which the electronic media has over the minds of the people--daily indoctrination by seemingly "nice" people
on television. What comes to mind is the CNN commentator Anderson Cooper, who has been questioning people
each night who object to the near-Ground Zero Muslim Mosque project in Manhattan. Mr. Cooper will not allow any of
these people to speak without interruption; he demands "Yes" or "No" answers to his inquisitions, and talks over any
attempt to answer in more than "Yes" or "No", any attempt to give a rationale for objections to the Ground Zero Mosque
project.
This is a very frightening thing to watch: the "top" CNN
commentator functioning in this way. This type of
questioning is also heard on the Rick Sanchez program on CNN, especially since Rick got his new Prime Time program
"Rick's List". Other CNN "news" people display the same type of gestapo questioning, although some are slightly more
subtle
in their approach, more "intellectual". This brainwashing goes
out to millions of people world wide. But this is
mild compared to what will be coming.
Torture will be old fashioned as a way to force compliance to Big Brother. "Love" and "Reason" will be used instead.
Millions of people's minds will be squashed before they get a chance to think. Real thinking will no longer exist
except among the privileged elite and their mouthpieces.
