Amazing logic, huh? Well, I have heard different views about this "genius". One, that he was an atheist and another time I heard he had become a believer, but either way, his view comes from an atheistic fleshly-look at the world around us. Sure - abandon the earth so we can "save" it and save ourselves. A lot of  extreme radical leftists global warming, earth "worshippers" want to see about 80% of the population of the earth decimated, so they can have the planet all to themselves. These elitists want everyone dead (except for THEM, of course!) They are no different than Mao, Hitler, Castro, Stalin and the rest of the murderous thugs who have crossed this globe slaughtering millions that didn't hold to THEIR VIEW of the universe. They are amoral, abortion-promoting psychopaths with absolutely no regard for human life whatsoever. They will spend $100,000  to try to save a whale ---and sit around and talk about how to eliminate millions of HUMAN beings (without missing a beat!) because their "Mother" earth is being threatened by humanity. Problem is - they don't believe the Bible - not ONE WORD of it! Colonizing outer space? What would THAT get us? Well, if you take man with his sinful nature and put him in colonies in outer space, all he would do is bring the BLOODSHED and WARS that he is so famous for to OUTER SPACE!! NOTHING would change because there is something intrinsically WRONG with the nature of man! It is the same fallen nature that he inherited from his father, ADAM  with all his fleshly sins of greed, lust, hatred, jealously, pride, anger, selfishness, (me first, you next mentality!), rage, etc., etc. ad nauseum. There is NO HOPE for man without the NEW BIRTH! GOD is NOT going to allow man in his fallen nature to populate the heavens! He has RESERVED the heavens for those who are redeemed! He will END up populating all those glorious constellations and worlds with mankind free of the fallen nature - just as He intended from the beginning with Adam & Eve before the Fall. Once they fell, His plans got sidetracked, but only MOMENTARILY and -- we all know that with God a thousand years is merely a moment of time! Hawking has it only half right. He can't "see" the truth because he does not believe God''s WORD. Those of us who do -- KNOW how the end will come about - and the new beginning - of all things!
