To the Five Doves,
The Feast of Unleavened Bread, Pentecost and the Feast of Tabernacles are sometimes called the "three great annual feasts." They stand out above all the others because they are the only Jewish festivals that require attendance by all males. The lessons of these three great annual festivals are all taught in harvest settings, but the harvest God has in mind is one of human souls.
Leaven is strictly prohibited during the Festival of Unleavened Bread, so why is it required in the firstfruits offering at Pentecost?
God detests chaff, so why does the firstfruits offering of the Feast of Unleavened Bread include chaff?
My new article, The Prophetic Message Of The Three Great Annual Feasts, explains how the three great annual festivals, when taken together as a group, reveal an all-encompassing prophecy of God's plan to restore mankind to intimate fellowship with Him.
