"Re Bob Ware's ""Greatly expanded article pointing to 9.28.2010""

John and Doves,

Unfortunately sometimes my brain does not expand in proportion to Bob's discoveries!

http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/aug2010/bobware826.htm

However, I did email Bob with the fact that in his breakdown of the TV screen into 640 x 360 pixel rectangles (x9), 640/360 = 1.777777.
I like it when so many sevens apprear in a row!

And then when you multiply 360 x 640 you get 230400. Did you see the 234 in there? So it appears 9 times overall.

And the square root of 230400 = 480 (Bob mentions 480 in the second para) and 480 x 9 = 4320. ie 234 backwards.
And if 480 is the ASCII code for 'Obama' as Bob says then we have a most interesting matrix on the TV screen - 'Obama' 18 times! 480 x 480 9 times.
However 640 x 360 x 9 = 2,073,600 pixels whereas 1,920 x 1,080 = 2,035,200 pixels the difference being 38,400 pixels or 1,920 x 20 so I'm not sure
why the difference but Bob may be able to tell us. Perhaps this renders my figs invalid.

Interesting but I am only tinkering at the edges of Bob's much bigger work.

Good on yer Bob!

Blessings,

Phil.
