I've often wondered why conservatives are called the “right” and liberals are called the “left.”   I stumbled on this verse in the Bible:     Ecclesiastes 10:2 (NASB) “A wise man's heart directs him toward the right, but the foolish man's heart directs him toward the left.”     "A wise man's heart is at his right hand; but a fool's heart at his left".  (KJV)   Yep, that’s it!   Phil 2
