I do not know if all those who feel Javier Solana is the Antichrist are aware that he is no longer in a seated position in the EU.  The EU has now a permanent President Herman Van Rompuy and Javier's position is filled by Catherine Ashton. She is the one that is the face to the world, executing policies and performing the same prestige and power Javier once did.   
 
December 2009, Javier Solana joined ESADE Business School as President of its new Center for Global Economy and Geopolitics. In January 2010, King Juan Carlos I appointed Javier Solana the 1,194rd Knight of the Order of the Golden Fleece for his career in diplomacy.
 
Javier is no longer the High Commissioner and in a sense out of the legal leadership he once enjoyed. He is part of the academia elites of the world.
 
Recommendation 666 is the amendment that merged both the WEU and EU together and gave Solana at that time unprecedented power.  He is now no longer holding office.
