This is another Founding Fathers readings original documents.  Glenn, realizes that it was the true Doctrinal Christian faith that laid the foundation for our nation.  Before he got this part going, he called Dr. Richard Land from the Southern Baptist Convention to learn and understand our Doctrine as he stated he wanted to be correct in presenting the Gospel.
 
He is so close, yet so far away, but he is headed in the right direction.  He is having many doing readings from our history as he learned that is was the Pastoral leadership well before there was the Mormon doctrine.  I understand thus far there will only be Christians and Jewish folk so far doing the readings as our heritage came from the Judeo/Christian foundation.
 
Just pray for him and his family to truly understand the real Gospel and put their faith in the Real Jesus.  He is seeking to try and recapture our original foundation and return to the Constitution and Republic we were once.
 
And, I know it is very hard to leave Mormonism or any cult that is very controling.  I went to a Mennonite Church who also behaved in cultic-like control  and taught that if I went to another church that I was sinning and that the Holy Spirit baptizes you into a local church, ignoring the whole and complete Body of Christ.  I know what it is to walk out of a church where the Pastor is screaming and yelling at you.  And I know there are also good Mennonite churches as well.  This one was very unique.
