Dear Doves,After another Dove posted information, which indicates that September 11th is the proper date to celebrate Rosh Hashnash, I've been investigating the possibility that the September 11th 2001 terror attacks were a critical sign linked to these End Times. Chabbad's Jewish Calender puts Rosh three days earlier on September 9th this year. Intriguingly, the Jews celebrate 'the Sabbat of Return on 9/11/2010'. Could this be the real date of the hidden rapture, the Sabbat of Return? Regardless, many people around the world have thought that 911 holds spiritual significance as a mighty sign. But, does this sign come to us from Jesus, or does it come from the enemy?Recently, the story of Joseph's time in Egypt has been linked to our present day by Ron Reese. Ron's linked Joseph's fourteen year cycle of harvests with mankind's current extremely tenuous financial and spiritual situation. Egypt rotated seven good harvests with seven years of famine. Ron thinks the seven 'good' years are past us, we are currently living at the end of the second bad year in the prophetic calender. It ends exactly on Rosh Shananah this year. If, September 11th, 2010 is truly Rosh the attacks were clearly a sign. Is this just another coincedence? Or perhaps, it was set apart forever by the terror attacks? Reese claims that we are now approaching the end of the first two bad years, yet 5 bad years remain before us. Those years contain the Great Tribulation.Consider our ancient enemy, he has built an apostate religion designed to oppose all other religions including Judaism and Christianity. We know that many post-rapture Christians will have their head's cut off for their witnesses during the Great Tribulation. Currently, people all over the world have been tortured and killed by islamic terrorists. The internet is buzzing with Islamist propaganda films celebrating the triumph of islam over all other faiths. Does anyone think it's coincidence that islamic terrorists demonstrate their victories by beheading their captives. Its significance is purely spiritual. It is the day when the Muslims thank Allah (SWT) for having given them the will, the strength and the endurance to observe fast and obey His commandment during the holy month of Ramadan.
This day, in Muslim world, brings rejoicing and happiness. The rejoicing is not, however, at the departure of the month of Ramadan; it is the happiness which man feels after successfully completing an important task.
It is celebrated for three days in a holiday called Eid-ul-Fitr (the Feast of Fast Breaking). Gifts are exchanged. Friends and family gather to pray in congregation.
