Hello,
John, Greg Lamb and Doves,
Pray
over this list:
1. Lots of water every day [about 2
liters/24 hrs]
2. Magnesium [200 mg to 400 mg per
day]
3. Potassium [no more than 90 mg per
day as a supplement, although additional natural sources are
OK]
4. Zinc [15 mg to 30 mg per
day]
5. Anti-oxidants [like vitamins A, C,
D, and E, plus bioflavinoids, etc.]
A
lot of prostate infections begin with a partially blocked urethra [the urine
backs up into the prostate, causing problems].
Magnesium [by way of ionic exchange] helps to break
down the calcium salts build-up.
Potassium helps to counteract the laxative effect of
the magnesium, while helping to
guard
against dehydration.
Zinc
can be found in OTC supplements. However, Zinc can be most quickly
absorbed
by
taking Cold-Eeze, or the generic equivalent [Zinc Gluconate].
Coffee
contains wonderful anti-oxidants, but it also tends to flush out Potassium from
the system.
A
better choice, perhaps, is to add into your diet something like V-8 Fusion
with blueberry and
pomegranate juices [100% Juice].
The
foregoing is but the tip of the iceberg in nutritional supplement
information.
As always, consult your physician whenever
you alter your nutritional lifestyle.
I hope
this helps, one Dove to another.
In the
name of the Great Physician, Jesus,
Mike

"PRAYER FOR MY DAD,
HE REMINDS ME OF JIM BRAMLETT"
Howdy John,
Here's a
special prayer request for my dad. As stated in the subject line he reminds me
a lot of Jim Bramlett. He is a very godly man and raised his 5 boys in the way
of God's word. He's 75 . . . . sorry Jim, no reflection on your age . . .
(grin).
I've sent this email to a number of other groups requesting
prayer so I've pasted the rest of the email below.
Thanks to all who
pray.

Lawton, OK
Leonard, I have a prayer request
for my dad, Stanley. He's had a recurring prostate infection that has been
going on now for almost a year. As any man knows who's had a prostate
infection, they are very difficult to heal due to the location and the amount
of limited blood flow that reaches that area. Not only that but the infection
is often very painful and affects quite a number of other areas of the body.
Often the infection is accompanied by a lack of energy, overall lethargy,
sometimes nausea, sweats and a number of other symptoms that come and go over
time. Dad has had the whole range of them. Like I said, for most of a year.
Considering his age, 75, it has taken a toll on his health. If you would,
please put him on the prayer list until further notice. We serve an awesome
God Who is our ultimate Healer. I know Dad will appreciate the prayers and I
will too.
To all prayer warriors. Thanks for praying. I will update as
God works. . . . and He ALWAYS does.
Greg
