"Re: "The Great Escape""

Dear Doves:

I would like to respond to some of the comments in Patty Hayes 18 Aug 2010 post, "The Great Escape", give my thoughts on several things, and get some feedback from the Doves.

I don't know if Obama is the A.C. but I do know one thing-if he's not, he has to be "foreshadowing" the real A.C.

It dawned on me recently as his numbers in the polls dropped & his seeming nonchalance about it all, that perhaps he really isn't concerned about re-election.  Henry Kissinger did announce that Obama had been especially selected and groomed.  If that's so, then perhaps the true intent is yet to be carried out, maybe as the permanent president of the E.U.?

I believe the A.C. must come from the Revived Roman Empire which includes two legs-west and east.  This would potentially place Obama, whose true birthplace is debatable, in the right arena.  Whoever the A.C. is, he won't be performing any miracles until he is indwelt by Satan at the mid-point of the Tribulation, and has the help of his cohort, the False Prophet.

Revelation 12:1-7 is describing the great end-time religious system from which the False Prophet comes.  Mystery, Babylon the Great describes a city-the city of Rome-and the woman riding this "beast" is the Roman Catholic Church, who has truly been drunk with the blood of the martyrs and saints throughout the centuries, whose cup full of abominations including torture, murder, manipulation of kings and kingdoms, the selling of salvation, and idol worship.  Therefore, I think the False Prophet may be a pope of the Catholic Church.

At any rate, scripture says the A.C. will rule over every tribe, tongue, and nation.  He is the "little horn", the 11th, which rises up out of the ten horns.  I believe the ten horns are ten global divisions.  These ten divisions are already in the planning stages and are listed tentatively as 1)North America, 2)Central America & Caribbean, 3)South America, 4)Western Europe, 5)Eastern Europe & Central Asia, 6)Mediterranean & Middle-East, 7)Africa, 8)Northeast & South Asia, 9)Southeast Asia, 10)Australia & the Pacific.

But, of course, these divisions will not solidify until authority has been given to the Beast aka A.C., as stated in Daniel 7:24 and Revelation 17:12, when the ten kings of these divisions pledge allegiance to the A.C.  So the ten kings won't be known until all is in place.

As for the enforcing (confirming) of a covenant with Israel, she must be dwelling peacefully in unwalled villages before she will ever agree to any treaty, don't you think?  I believe all efforts to "force" Israel into some kind of agreement now will fail...because the alignments aren't quite right just yet.  I haven't quite figured out how Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38-39 fit, but I believe these wars will figure into the eventual confirmation of a treaty between Israel & the many nations against her.

It is possible the Psalm 83 war will take place first, giving Israel a false sense of security.  There might or might not be a span of time between that war and the War of Magog, in which Israel knocks down her walls and rebuilds the Temple.  Israel will be heady with victory against her enemies.  I can also foresee Israel being completely self-sufficient because of the newly discovered natural gas and oil fields.  I've always felt that Israel would eventually find oil-and now she has.  Because of the horrible situation Russia finds itself in currently with the fires, drought, pollution, contamination, & loss of wheat crops now occurring, I am convinced that Israel's oil will be the HOOK IN THE JAW that draws Magog into the fray.  Neither Gog nor the Middle Eastern Islamic nations can allow Israel to undermine their economies!!!

Seeing a vulnerability in Israel after her first victory in war, resting securely, Gog and his allies see her as an easy target.  Ezekiel 38-39 take place, but of course, we all know God steps in and annihilates Israel's remaining enemies, destroying all but a sixth of those people.

At any rate, there is certain to be at least one, if not two more great wars in the Middle East in order to complete the alignment of end-time events so that Israel's temple can be rebuilt and a peace treaty confirmed.  One or both of these wars could potentially occur before the Tribulation starts.

In the meantime, we as Christians may go through many trials and tribulations, including possibly getting caught in the midst of an attack on American soil, or in the birth pains of some huge natural disaster, or perhaps even getting involved to some extent in the Psalm 83 War.  Christians have suffered tribulation for the past 2000 years since Christ.  And He said that we would.

BUT, I do not believe born-again spirit-filled believers will go through any part of the last seven years of the actual Tribulation because God has given us the blessed hope of escape.  He told us we weren't destined for wrath.  And the Rapture is imminent!  There is nothing that indicates we have to be here for any of the above-mentioned horrors.  We could be, but not necessarily!!!!
I think the Rapture will probably happen somewhere in the midst of all this
turmoil or before.  I hope it is soon!

So keep looking up and watching expectantly, but don't tire of doing the good work of the gospel and winning souls as we wait.  The lateness of the hour and the urgency of the birth pains in 2010 demand that we work even harder for God's Kingdom and His Glory!  By the way, I'm preaching to myself!  I have grown weary, & have been under steady spiritual attack for the last six years.
My sufferings & trials have been heavy and often hard to bear as the adversary tries to distract and shake me to my core!  I will not give up or give in.

So let me know what you all think and God bless you.

M.A.P.
