"Chris M- thank you for sharing"
Chris,
Chris, it is
when we are "broken" that the true healing of God can be greatly
manifested if we have the heart to hear him and the wisdom to
acknowledge our condition. Thank you for your willingness and
freedom to share your path of healing that you have been on these last
few months. As we at five doves wait for the rapture, God is
revealing himself more and more to his seeking people in the most
amazing ways. With testimonies like your resonating with others
experiences, I can really see how the demonic can attack and have
strongholds in families that go generation to generation. Somehow
we think that being a Christians eliminates us from satans battlefield
and he can't have influence or sway over us. Maybe that is the
first mistake of modern day Christianity, falling for that
lie. If we don't know we have an opponent, we won't know or
understand the need to discover his tactics or what is necessary to
thwart his attacks. If we have a heart to hear, God will show us
these strongholds, like he showed you yours. I have
found that fasting is also an important part of confirming our
intent to learn, with the Lord. Acknowledging that constricting
our appetite for food can teach us that there are other appetites that
need to be restricted as well. Our intent to learn from fasting
will be used by God to teach us of other areas that need the same
treatment. Isn't the Lord good. You can see why Paul
embarrassed his hardships because he saw them as a tool for the Lord to
show more of Himself to Paul, and also a chance to see more of what was
being dominated in his life by evil spirits. This would result in
God being more, and Paul being less. That would be my life goal
as it seems is yours as well. God's blessing on you.
