"Will Schumacher and Satan's 1260 days, or is it 42 months? What is a prophetic year?"

Will,
You said that the 'Bible clearly states that Satan has 1260 days'.  The Bible actually says that power is given unto him for forty-two months.  The word in Revelation 13:5 for 'months' is the Greek word G3376 (men) which means specifically NEW MOONS.  On average a new moon occurs every 29.530589 days.  42 new moons would specifically literally be the equivalent of 1240.28 days not 1260.  While Revelation 12 verses do seem to equate 'time, times and half time' with 1260 days, there is no Biblical statement specifically equating the year with 360 days.    The only numerical equivalent in Daniel to the number 360 is the two-dimensional measurements of an idol (false image), described by Daniel 3:1 as 60 x 6 (equals 360).  All man-made calendars (including the Hebrew's) seek to eventually reconcile the new moons with the new sun (solar year).  The alternative month would be that average time all calendars end up with and that is 30.4368 days per month which would equate to 1278.35 days at 42 months duration.

My point is, the Bible is NOT clear on this point but it is specific.  As for the Lord's return or rapture dates, Enoch's time on earth would seem to be thee time clue as to the length of a 'prophetic' year, being the only one to have been translated by God. He was 365 years; which number 365 is within a 1/4 day of the actual solar year God designed.  God said to let the lights in the heavens be for signs, for seasons, for days and for years NOT the false image of a year as devised by man.  The real prophetic time clock is in the sky.  When the messenger appeared to Daniel and first stated 'time, times and a half time' he raised his hands to the sky and swore by the timeless one (God) whom made and instituted the real time clock.

Blessings to you,

Kevin H.
