"A support for the "Jubileé = 2017/2018" alternative"

Hello everyone

I believe we are not in the 7 years tribulation period yet, because the period concerns Israel, and something has to be started up there first I think and we should have the presence of the two witnesses preaching in the streets of Jerusalem and also there should be burning of russian weapons lasting the whole tribulation.

I want to refer to the article about the jubileé chronology presented by David Robinson (2 Aug 2010: URL= http://www.creation-answers.com/chronoj.htm) which states that the Judeans did not celebrate the Jubilee year anymore probably from the year 134 BC. Thus, instead of a new Jubileé celebration they began a new 7 year Shmita cycle in 134/133 BC (autumn to autumn) being Year One of this Shmita cycle. So, from this, 134/133 BC (autumn to autumn) should have been a Jubileé year if the Judeans had continued their Jubileé celebration. In the article they also conclude that before 134 BC the Judeans counted 50 years for the Jubileé cycle based on the writings of  Flavius Josephus and from the scriptures of Lev 25: 3-12 as quoted:

Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; But in the seventh year shall be a Sabbath of rest unto the land...That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land... And thou shalt number seven Sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound ... And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land... A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed. For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.

From 134 BC (autumn) they used only shmita cycles, and there are 306  7-years shmita cycles from 134 BC to 2009 AD. Thus autumn-2009 to autumn 2010 (Hebrew year 5770) is Year One of a new Shmita cycle. Years 2008 - 2009 and 2015 - 2016 would then from this both be Shmita Years. 2015-1966 = 49, making year 1966 - 1967 a Shmita year and not a Jubileé year (this is in accordance with the article above). So,  is1967-1968 a Jubilee year then ? - From 134 BC to 1967 AD there are 2100 years (no year "0"). A 50 years Jubileé Cycle would mean that the time period from 134 BC to 1967 AD consists of exactly 42 Jubileé Cycles, years 134/133 BC and 1967/1968 AD both being a Jubileé Year. It's quite interesting that the Jubile cycle (50 years) and the Year One of the Shmita cycle (7 years) overlap exactly in 1967/1968 (when a Jubileé Year = Year One of a Shmita) occuring only each 350 years (7x50 years). Adding 50 years to 1967 we arrive at 2017, thus I think being a strong support for the next Jubileé Year to be 2017 autumn to 2018 autumn.

I believe and hope that 2010 is the year for departure and hopefully no need for the tribulation experience, thank you. To be found worthy to escape all the things we have got our own trials beforehand, just as the dead in Christ had their own personal experience (tribulation) before dying. God doesn't say that everyone has to become martyrs to come to heaven.

God bless all of you.
