"Re: Heather's post"

Heather,

In regards to your daughter and her bad experience at school, I would like to relay our own experience with our son and kindergarten.  We had planned to put him in the public school.  We figured it was all right until he became a little older.  The school principal called my wife and I in to discuss our son a few weeks ago.  Our son receives speech therapy.  The meeting we had with them was awful.   They had all these plans to label him and put him in special classes.  There's nothing wrong with our son.   I tell you, you can't trust the public schools.   There's even a feeling of darkness inside their buildings.  We went to a Christian school and the atmosphere and everything about it was great.  That's where he's going in September.  The problem isn't academic.  It's spiritual.  On one of the doors to a science class, the professor left a comic he had cut out and taped to his door.  The comic made fun of creationism.   Please pray for God to show you what to do for your daughter.  It may be shyness, but it may be something else.

Joe
