Please pray with me concerning my daughter Savannah.  She started first grade this year.  I homeschool my son and have for 3 years, this year is the beginning of year #4, but Savannah is not doing well at all.  She has always been very timid and just like a little turtle she disappears at the first sign of trouble or fear.  I homeschooled her last year and because I have always been a stay at home mom she has had no social experiences outside of our home.  Being at school today made her so physically ill that she had diarrhea and was throwing up after school.  Her anxiety level is so high and she cried and cried and begged me to let her stay home tomorrow.  I need everyone to bind together and ask God to strengthen her little spirit and give her peace and courage.  Her teacher who is wonderful, said she did well today, but she clearly was nervous all day and when she had to wait after most of the kids left (bus kids and walkers), she got nervous that we weren't coming for her and she started to cry.  We were sick when we saw her little tear stained face and she pretty much has been crying ever since.  This school is the best in our area and they are at the top for math and reading.  They just officially became a title school and I know if she can stay brave, she will make friends and do well in this school.
