"I'm with you John"
I understand where you are coming from, John.
The patience of the saints has nearly been worn out, but scripture said
it would be. But, like Ivory soap, I am 99.99% sure that this
Rosh Hashana is the time. Three possible days may be involved, Sept 9,
10, 11. I think 11th is the best shot.
But I was musing
about I Thessalonians 4:13-18 and am not sure what the wording means to
those of us who have not fallen asleep at the time of the
rapture. To be specific, the passage says that "the dead in
Christ will rise FIRST, then we who are alive AND REMAIN, will be
caught up....." I thought perhaps September 11, America's second
and major destruction would occur on the 9th anniversary of the Twin
Towers destruction. But then I thought perhaps the dead in Christ
will rise on that day and we living, will REMAIN for a period of time,
changed into our new bodies, but staying here??? Maybe as long as
40 days, just as Jesus was with us after the resurrection of His body,
for 40 days.
Yesterday I posted that this year, Rosh Hashana,
Sept 9, 10, 11, falls on the same days of the week as the sleep in the
tomb and the resurrection did in Jesus time. I wonder if this
picture will be repeated???
Others have written of the possibility of our remaining 40 days....maybe so?
What do you and the doves think now?
