I
picked up this interesting little tidbit of information on a radio show
called Phil's gang. Of the fortune 500 companies ten are big
pharmaceutical companies, those ten companies make more profit than all
the other four hundred ninety companies combined. Phil tells you what
Wall street does not want you to know.
Therefore this fulfills
Revelation 18:23 and the light of the candle shall shine no more at all
in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride: for thy
merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were
all nations deceived.
This word sorceries comes from the Greek
word pharmakia from which we get the word pharmacy or drugs. Also note
that Rev. 9:21 uses the term sorceries, however it is also associated
with murder, fornication/prostitution, and theft. All of which today
are associated by the police to the illegal drug trade. Pimps keep
their prostitutes hooked on drugs to keep them hooking. Drug users
commit theft to buy more drugs and some times when a drug deal goes bad
someone is murdered. So we see that Rev. 9:21 is quite obviously
predicts our illegal drug problem, whereas Rev. 18:23 on the other hand
is connected to our use of prescription drugs, since there is no
connection to murder, theft, and fornication. Also note that Rev. 18:23
is connected to the great men of the earth/merchants or what we would
call today big pharmaceutical companies. Remember prescriptive drugs
killed Elvis, and got Rush Limbaugh into a lot of trouble.
