"A Consideration for Aug.21/22"
Dear Doves:
In my post of July 9, I wrote that July 10/11 happened to be the day when Moses was so angry
to see people worshipping the golden calf, cast the tables and 3,000 men were punished to death.
This calculation was based on Exodus 24:16-18 that after the Israelites received the Law, Moses
went up to Mt.Sinai, waited for 6 days, then on the 7th day he was called to stay with G-d for 40 days.
If this application is correct, Aug.21/22 happen to be the day when Moses came down from Mt.Sinai
with the second tables. And he had to cover his shining face with the veil, for people were afraid
to come near him. A question is why the face of Moses shone only for the second time.
Most Bible scholars agree that while the first table represents flesh, disbelief, disobedience and
failure, the second table represents spirit, faith, obedience and completion. Thus the second table
represents overcomer, and the Bride should be overcomer.
Apostle Paul also gives a significant clue in 2 Corinthians 3:16-18.
"Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil(of Moses) shall be taken away.
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty.
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed
into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."
For these reasons, it's fair to say that the shining skin of Moses was a shadow of a thing to come,
and let's hope that either the Rapture or the Outpouring would happen on Aug.21/22.
Maranatha!
