This is the first time I've posted to Five Doves, but I've been a daily reader since about October of last year.  I was born the year after Israel became a nation, and realize that I most likely will not be around to see my 70th birthday!  I may not even make my 61st birthday, which will be on September 14!   My first child, Jeremiah, was born on September 23!   It's very exciting to think that two of the greatest events on the horizon may fall on my and my son's birthdays!  Praise the Lord!

There's a 1 in 365 chance one of us will have the same birthday as Jesus, or a birthday that falls on the date of Jesus' Second Coming.  What a great birthday present! September 23rd catches my eye because my dear mate was born on that day.  He is a Jewish believer in Jesus.  His mother is not yet a believer.  Anyway, when she was in labor with him,  it was beginning to get close to midnight (11th hour) and the doctor said something like, you don't want the baby born on the 24th (of September) do you? Turns out my mother-in-law did give birth before midnight on the 23rd, but she said it made no difference to her about the date and thought the doctor was just trying to encourage her.  But I have to wonder if the doctor's words were prophetic.  Just wanted to share!
