I've said many times that it appears to me that the Isaiah 17:1 destruction prophecy and the Rapture happen at or close to the same time.

Here's a good reason that I don't think I've posted before :

The first mention of Damascus in the Bible is -

Genesis 14:15 And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.

The total verse gematria for this verse is -

    2391

2391g = Strong's greek number for Jared.

This is also the first verse in the Bible with that gematria total. That means Damascus and Jared are matched -

if you believe that the Strong's numbers are designed instead of random.
