Nowhere in Scripture does God tell us that the
Church will be kept from tribulation. Quite the opposite is true:
Romans 5:3 (NKJV)
"And not only that, but we also glory in
tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces
Scripture does tell us that the Church will be kept
from "the hour of trial."
"Because you have kept My command to persevere, I
also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon
the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth."
Scripture also tells us that God does "not appoint
us to wrath."
1 Thessalonians 5:9 (NKJV)
"For God did not appoint us to
wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus
By being raptured prior to the "hour of trial" the
Church will escape the 'wrath of God' and the 'wrath of the Lamb'. So when does
their wrath come upon the world ?
Revelation 5:16-17 (the opening of the Sixth
"And hide us from the face of the One sitting on
the Throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, because THE GREAT DAY OF
THEIR WRATH HAS COME, and who can survive it ?"
I believe that the opening of the First Seal begins
the 1,260 day first-half of the '70th Week of Daniel' and the opening of the
Sixth Seal begins the 1,260 day second-half of the '70th Week of Daniel'
otherwise known as the 'Great Tribulation' of Matthew 24 ie. "the
great day of their wrath".
Seals Two thru Five will also be opened during the
first-half bringing world war, economic depression, and death to many
people of the world. But how is that any different than the world history of the
past 2,000 years ? What will be different will be the coming of "the
great day of their wrath" during the "hour of trial"
when the Sixth Seal is opened.
Come Lord Jesus!
