"Glenn Beck"

I don't post here often.  Recently, I made a conscious decision to get
less (almost none) of my news from the radio/TV media.  What I know of
Glenn Beck is from this site and a handful of others.  Having said that, I
would like to make a comment about Beck and the upcoming event(s) in
Washington, D.C and California(?).  If my understanding is incorrect,
please forgive me.

I don't believe, as a born-again Christian, we should be dismissing what
Mr. Beck is doing because he is a Mormon.  Nor should we use a broad-brush
and be unapproving of those who may participating and working with him in
achieving any of his goals as it pertains to these events.  In the NT,
there is scripture where the disciples came to Christ and asked Him if
they should stop people who were spreading the message of Christ.  Our
Saviour told the Disciples not to hinder these individuals.

In addition, we should not be ignoring what is being said about or at
these functions, because it is Mr. Beck doing the talking.  We are to
occupy until He Comes.  None of us know with absolutely certainity exactly
when that will be.  It may be awhile (in terms of months) or a matter of
days, hours or minutes.  It is fairly certain we are not talking years.
Basically, we are not to separate from this world, until He does the
separating.

>From what I have read here and elsewhere, Mr. Beck has said nothing
offensive about Jesus - nor has he promoted the Mormon belief system.
>From what I know, he appears to be doing a good thing, not a bad thing.

I hope I have not offended anyone, and again, if I have missed something,
please forgive me.
