"Anne Rice / Lot's Wife"
I have been thinking about Lot's wife
recently. She knew the danger, yet her eyes and her heart were
drawn to Sodom as it was being destroyed. Because of her
disobedience and attraction to sin and the people living in that city,
she did not make it to safety.
In the interview with the
novelist Anne Rice who renounced her Christian faith (posted on 7/31),
one of the first things she said was "I refuse to be anti-gay". I
work with some homosexuals and they are very "nice" people, but I can't
choose their acceptance over what the Bible says is right. I
think that the division caused by homosexuality in our society and our
churches is just another way to deceive many believers. Several

as it is in Canada. If we are called "homophobes" we should
respond, "On the contrary, I am a theophobe, and you should Fear God,
