Notice that the crossing of the Jordan near Gilgal and Jericho is the point of reference associated with Elijah, Elisha, John the Baptist, Moses, Jesus Christ, David, Jacob, and Joshua. This crossing marks the place where Jesus Christ will cross the Jordan River, going east to west, after coming up the kings highway (Numbers 20:17). Song of Solomon 3:6-Who is this that cometh out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all powders of the merchant? When Christ returns, He comes through the wilderness BEFORE He comes to the mount of Olives (Zechariah 14). The myrrh, frankincense, and the perfumes in Song of Solomon 3:6 are a reference to Jesus Christ in Psalm 45:8. These are the the spices and perfumes connected with Jesus Christ at the marriage of the Lamb, right BEFORE the 2nd Advent. Psalm 45:1-6: My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever. Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty. And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee. Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad. Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir. Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house; So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him. And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour. The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold. She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee. With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace. Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth. The context of Psalm 45 is the marriage of the Lamb. Verse 3 mentions Christ as having a sword which is a direct reference to the sword found in Revelation 19:15. Its the Second Advent and when He comes back He is spoken of as an annointed king (Psalm 45:7), whose garments smell of perfume (Psalm 45:8 and Song of Solomon 3:6). In Song of Solomon 3:6 Christ is said to come out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke. When the Jews came out of the land of Egypt, they were led by a pillar of smoke. The pillar of smoke took them down Mount Sinai, and then took them from Sinai up by the kings highway on the east side of the Dead Sea. They then crossed the Jordan near the Dead Sea where Jesus was baptized. This is also where Joshua crossed over into Canaan. So the pillar of smoke that led the Jews began at Sinai, then came up through Selah, Petra, Paran, and Mount Seir. Then it turned west and led the Jews into the Promised Land. When Jesus Christ returns, He will come to Mount Sinai and then go up the Kings Highway through Selah, Petra, Paran, and Mount Seir. Then He will cross the Jordan where He was baptized, go through Jericho and Gilgal, and come on the east side of the Mount of Olives through the eastern gate (Ezekiel 44:2-3). The route of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ BEGINS at Mount Sinai and ENDS at the Mount of Olives. Deuteronomy 33:1-3: And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death. And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them. Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words. This is obviously prophetic of the future, for the Lord did not come with ten thousands of saints back in Exodus. The Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir. The Lord did not do that in Exodus, Leviticus, or Numbers. Mount Seir is up in Edoms land, not down by Sinai. Notice verse 2 (rose up from Seirhe shined forth from mount Paran). The Lord did not do that in Exodus, Leviticus, or Numbers. But He is going to shine forth in Revelation 14 and 19, therefore the passage is prophetic of the route of the 2nd Advent. The references in Deuteronomy 33 point to Sinai, Seir, and Paran, which is the tip of the Sinaitic Peninsula. Then the route comes northward up through Edom and begins to cross around the Dead Sea on the east side, coming around and through the ancient land of Moab and the Ammonites. Judges 5:2-5: Praise ye the LORD for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves. Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, even I, will sing unto the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD God of Israel. LORD, when thou wentest out of Seir, when thou marchedst out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped, the clouds also dropped water. The mountains melted from before the LORD, even that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel. Judges chapter 5 is prophetic of the 2nd Advent, for the historical battles in the preceding chapter (Judges chapter 4) did not occur within a hundred miles of Edom and Mount Seir. The battle of Judges 4 (Barak, Jael, and Sisera) took place up by Kishon and Megiddo near Jezreel, in northern Palestine. Notice verse 4 (LORD, when thou wentest out of Seir, when thou marchedst out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped, the clouds also dropped water). What is that a reference to? Thats the latter rain of Hosea 6:3. Notice verse 5 (The mountains melted from before the LORD, even that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel). Sinai did not melt when God gave the law back in Exodus 19 and 20, therefore this passage is prophetic of the 2nd Advent, yet future. If you read Judges 5:12 you will notice a reference to Jesus Christ that is quoted in Ephesians 4:8 (lead thy captivity captive-Judges 5:12). The reference is not to Jehovah God at the beginning of the law in Exodus. The reference is to Jesus Christ returning at His glorious 2nd Advent. Judges 5:10-11: Speak, ye that ride on white asses, ye that sit in judgment, and walk by the way. They that are delivered from the noise of archers in the places of drawing water, there shall they rehearse the righteous acts of the LORD, even the righteous acts toward the inhabitants of his villages in Israel: then shall the people of the LORD go down to the gates. We Christians (those truly saved) are going to have a dress rehearsal (rehearse-see verse 11) before we go down to the gates of Jerusalem with Jesus. This is very similar to what we find in Joel 3:11 (thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD). The noise of archers (Judges 5:11) is the military battle going on in Israel by the forces of the antichrist at the time of the 2nd Advent. Psalm 68:1-35 also deals with the 2nd Advent. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God (Psalm 68:1-2). This is the 2nd Advent where the wicked burn up at the very PRESENCE of God. This is a direct reference to 2nd Thessalonians 1:7-8 (And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ), Hebrews 12:29 (For our God is a consuming fire), and Joel 2:3 (A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them). Psalm 68:7-9: O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah: The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel. Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary. The wilderness of verse 7 is the same wilderness of Song of Solomon 3:6. The plentiful rain of verse 9 is the same latter rain of Hosea 6:3. Psalm 68 is not a reference to the giving of the law in Exodus. Rather, Psalm 68 is advanced revelation concerning the 2nd Advent. Psalm 68:17-18: The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place. Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive. This is a direct reference to Judges 5:12 and Ephesians 4:8. Again, the reference is to Jesus Christ in a 2nd Advent context. Psalm 68:21-23: But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses. The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea: That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same. Psalm 68:21 is the fulfillment of Genesis 3:15 (And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel), which Paul spoke of in Romans 16:20 (And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly). The bruising of the head of the serpent (Genesis 3:15) does not take place until the 2nd Advent. This same phenomenon is found in Habakkuk 3:13 and Psalm 74:13-14. Psalm 68:22-23 is the fulfillment of Revelation 19:11-15. When the Lord comes back, He comes through the wilderness of Sinai, Seir, and Mount Paran up through Edom before he comes to the Mount of Olives. Isaiah 63:1-4: Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. Bozrah (Isa 63:1) is the other name of Edom. Bozrah means sheepfold and this is where the remnant of the Jews who survive the 70th Week of Daniel will be gathered by Christ at the 2nd Advent (Micah 2:12-I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men). Notice the clothing that Jesus is wearing in Isaiah 63:1. He is wearing the wedding garments of the marriage of the Lamb that He has just come from in heaven. Jesus answers the question of verse 1 (I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save). It couldnt be anyone else other than Jesus, for this is His glorious 2nd Advent. The Lords apparel and garments are red (Isa 63:1) from Him having trodden the winepress alone (Isa 63:3). This is the winepress of Revelation 14:19-20 and Revelation 19:15. The Lord is going to literally stomp and tread on the wicked, unrepentant sinners at His 2nd Advent and get his clothing dirty with the blood of lost sinners. This is the Jesus Christ that most people know nothing of. He is coming in great wrath for the unrepentant. Habakkuk 3:1-5: A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet upon Shigionoth. O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise. And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power. Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet. Teman (verse 3) is the name of one of Esaus sons (Genesis 36:15). Teman settled in Edom and the Temanites came from him. Mount Paran (verse 3) is a mountain in Edom. Edom is the same place as Bozrah. His glory covered the heavens (verse 3) is the shined forth of Deuteronomy 33:2. The pestilence of verse 5 is the plague of Zechariah 14:12 and the fire and flame of Joel 2:3-6. The burning coalsat his feet are the cherubim of Ezekiel 1:13-38 that carry His throne. Habakkuk 3:6-He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting. What nations? The nations of Psalm 2:1-3 (The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed) and the nations of Zechariah 14:1-3 (Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle). Habakkuk 3:8-12: Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of salvation? Thy bow was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers. The mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high. The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear. Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger. This is the Lord Jesus Christ returning at the 2nd Advent in all power and glory. The waters above the heavens (Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens-Psalm 148:4) open up for Him to come down through at His coming (Hab 3:10). There ARE waters above the heavens in outer space (Genesis 1:7, Job 26:8, Job 38:30, Psalm 18:11, Psalm 74:13, and Jeremiah 10:13). The deep of Habakkuk 3:10 is a reference to the waters above your head in outer space! Notice that the sun and the moon stand still (Hab 3:11) at the 2nd Advent, just like they did for Joshua (Joshua 10:13). The battles Joshua fought are types of Armageddon and the 2nd Advent. As the Lord travels through the land He is thrashing the heathen in anger (Hab 3:12) for it is the day of vengeance (Isaiah 61:2). Habakkuk 3:13-15: Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah. Thou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly. Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters. Thine anointed (verse 13) is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ, while the head (verse 13) is the head of the serpent (Genesis 3:15) who is Satan. The sea and heap of great waters (verse 15) are the waters above the heavens that Christ and the armies from heaven come through on their way to earth at the 2nd Advent. Zechariah 14:1-4: Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. The Lord is said to be a man of war (The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name-Exodus 15:3). Zechariah 14:3 is the 2nd Advent (then shall the LORD go forth). God/Jesus will wage war as we find in Revelation 19, reminiscient of when the Lord waged war against Pharaoh in Exodus (as when he fought in the day of battle-Zechariah 14:3). History repeats itself (Isaiah 46:10). If you want to see how the Lord will act when he wages war against unrepentant sinners, then read Micah 1:3-8 and Nahum chapters 1 through 2. A man of war carries a spear (Habakkuk 3:11) and a sword (Revelation 19). If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me (Deuteronomy 32:41). Do you remember what Jesus told Pilate in John 18:36? Jesus told him My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. But His kingdom is GOING TO BE of this world when He returns! When the Lord returns to this earth, He will come down through the galaxies and solar systems from the north. When He comes down, He will come down across the side of the earth to Sinai. He will come down to Sinai in the air and move across Sinai, and He will come up from Sinai, up to Edom, up to Seir, up through Paran, up the Kings Highway, on the east side of the Dead Sea, turn at the north end of the Dead Sea and cross the Jordan River at the place where He was baptized, come across Gilgal, step off the white horse (Revelation 19:11), put His foot on the ground on the Mount of Olives, and the mountain will split right in two! Christ said If ye have faith as a grain of mustard see, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove (Matthew 17:26). When He puts His foot down, the Mount of Olives breaks in two and then He gets back on His white horse and comes down through the eastern gate (Ezekiel 44:2-3) into Jerusalem. Christ will call forth a throne and sit down on the throne of David (Luke 1:32). And then it is going to be bow down, or else (Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little-Psalm 2:12). Surely I come quickly. Amen.
