Lauren, you give the United States WAY more power and might than any human being can have!  It’s the Spirit of the Living God who restrains evil… not that the Spirit will be removed, since God is omnipotent… but the work of the Spirit THROUGH Christians.

The United States has no more power to stop the Antichrist than does Russia, Germany, or any other human entity.  That’s going to take God and His restraining hand, which is what’s been holding back total evil for all these centuries.
