"Governor Sarah Palin's faith"

Dear friends:

Just minutes ago, Senator and Presidential candidate John McCain boldly introduced his surprise VP running mate, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, the first woman ever on the Republican ticket.  It was a historic selection.

She has been one of my favorite VP candidates for a long time.  She is an outstanding woman.  Her acceptance speech was absolutely brilliant, hitting all the right buttons and singing all the right notes.

On the Wikipedia Web site I found that Sarah Palin is a Christian (Protestant), saying:
She played the (state) championship (basketball) game despite a stress fracture in her ankle, hitting a critical free throw in the last seconds. Palin, who was also the head of the school Fellowship of Christian Athletes, would lead the team in prayer before games.
FCA is a great evangelical organization.  Palin is also pro-life and a strong conservative.

I like her, and I think her choice for VP was a master stroke, totally taking the air out of Barack Obama's hyper-inflated, Hollywood-style event the previous night.

Her executive experience?  Well, she has more than Barack Obama and Joe Biden combined (which is zero)!

Now I will have to reevaluate my previous support of Paris Hilton for President, even though Paris had confidently declared, "I am totally ready to lead."
