Dear Doves,

In the Lord's Prayer we pray: "Lead us not into TEMPTATION, but deliver us from evil" (or) " but deliver us from the evil one".

Here the word "temptation" means 'tribulation' or "the hour of trial that is about to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth". We are asking to be kept from the coming tribulation that will test men's souls.
