Moses Ascends Sinai for the 3rd 40 Days
On the
early morning of the 1st of Elul of the year 2448 from creation (1313 BCE)
Moses ascended Mount Sinai, taking with him the stone tablets he had hewn by
divine command (see "Today in Jewish History" for yesterday, Av 30),
for G-d to re-inscribe the Ten Commandments. On the mountain, G-d allowed Moses
to "see My back, but not My face" (which Maimonides interprets as a
perception of G-d's reality but
not His essence) -- the closest any human being ever came to knowing G-d -- and
taught him the secret of His "Thirteen Attributes of Mercy" (Exodus
33:18-34:8).
Moses
remained on the mountain for 40 days, until the 10th of Tishrei (Yom Kippur),
during which time He obtained G-d's whole-hearted forgiveness and
reconciliation with the people of
Israel
following their betrayal of
the covenant between them with their worship of the Golden Calf. This was the
third of Moses' three 40-day periods on
Mount Sinai
in connection with the Giving of the Torah. Ever since, the month of Elul
serves as the "month of Divine mercy and forgiveness."

August 15, 2007 also happens to fall on the day that the
Catholic Church celebrates the “Assumption of Mary”. Although I do
not believe in their doctrine of “Assumption” because it is without
evidence, it does make me wonder if it might serve as prophetic shadow.
Because it is a shadow, the event will not be taking place perhaps, but it
shadows a significant event to come.
There are many cultures that have story’s about the
TWINS (even Star Wars), yet there has never been any fulfillment to the
mystery, though there is evidence that it is an important piece in the
prophetic puzzle.
Zec 4:14 Then said he, These [are] the two anointed ones,
that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
Mat 20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of
my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on
my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but [it shall be given to
them] for whom it is prepared of my Father.
Rev 11:3 And I will give [power] unto my two witnesses, and
they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days, clothed in
sackcloth.
Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two
candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
1Cr 9:24 ¶ Know ye not that they which run in a race run
all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
Since I made mention in an earlier post about Hurricane Rita
(meaning
Pearl
),
that it hit land on 9/24/2005,
it had to signify a significant event coming.
Hag 2:18 Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth
day of the ninth [month, even] from the day that the
foundation of the LORD'S temple was laid, consider [it].
Hag 2:19 Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine,
and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought
forth: from this day will I bless [you].

saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of
Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen
thee, saith the LORD of hosts.

In essence, Moses, a type of Zerubbabel, ascends the
mountain
of
God Elul
1 in the year 2448 from
creation, on the same day (this year) as it is assumed Mary ascended 8/15.

In the grand scale, Jesus was and is the Governor that will
rule the people of
Israel
and is the literal fulfillment of the prophecy. Yet there is a type or similitude
being cast toward a work of Grace which God is the author and finisher of. In
essence, I see a joining between Judah and Ephraim, making them as one. I
believe this is the connection between the heavenly prototype (Jesus) and the work
of Grace (Ephraim). Just as there is a bride of Christ, Ephraim will also have
a bride to represent what the church will look like as people who are one with Christ.
If you have ever seen a crystal grow, the New Jerusalem is
likened unto a crystal. When the earthly joins to the heavenly, everything
earthly will become aligned and adhere together as if it is a crystal that
grows. Then as it will become like army that does not break its ranks. Every
part will move as if it is one part. Everyone in the body will flow together
as one.
When do we get raptured you might ask? You and I might be
very well ready to go. But how many of us have searched the highways and
byways to compel people to come. We have our invitation, but we are not
concerned about the people who have not received one.
If you KNEW that Jesus was returning in a week, a month, a
year, would you not lay everything aside and compel everyone you knew that
Jesus was returning? I would. Perhaps if there is a last trumpet, there is
also a first that calls us to assemble our ranks. Then as a mighty army, we
will make a complete sweep of every house and every nation to find every last
one that will be saved. As Jesus explains,…
Luk 15:8 ¶ Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if
she lose one piece, doth not light a
candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find
[it]?
When God lights his candlesticks, you will know the time is
very short.
