"September when it comes"

I had thought about this email I had written to Jim back in September 2004.  I thought perhaps what I had written back then seems to be more in line with what I am seeing that is coming this September.   Perhaps I am only seeing the shadows being cast “again”, but I know one of these days, it will no longer be a shadow but the real fulfillment of the prophecies being pondered below.

Be Blessed,

Jim,

I thought I would tell you about a little surprise yesterday after receiving your email.  As you know, as I have stated before, September 6, 2004 is the 2000 year prophetic anniversary of Pentecost, which was the birth of the Church.  It seems that it will not be any more eventful than, September 5th, 4th, 3rd, or 2nd, but you never know.

But, my friend and I do take things like this to the point of silliness, but in doing so came across some very rich prophetic symbolism.   Let me explain.  When you said September, I begin to break up the word as follows:

Sept – Ember.

Sept = 7

Ember = A lighted coal, smoldering amid ashes; -- used chiefly in the plural, to signify mingled coals and ashes; the smoldering remains of a fire.

Notice that Ember is not plural but singular.  Seven Ember, is almost like saying the Seven are One Ember.

Even more interesting is the prophetic significance.

Rev 1:20  The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Act 2:1  And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

I came across this:

Psa 18:6  In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, [even] into his ears.

Psa 18:7  Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.

Psa 18:8  There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

Psa 18:9  He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness [was] under his feet.

2Sa 22:11  And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.

2Sa 22:12  And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, [and] thick clouds of the skies.

2Sa 22:13  Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.

2Sa 22:14  The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.

Notice that prior to the Lord’s return, he kindles his Coals.   He blows his Winds upon them.

Isa 6:5  Then said I, Woe [is] me! for I am undone; because I [am] a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

Isa 6:6  Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, [which] he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

Isa 6:7  And he laid [it] upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

Isa 6:8  Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here [am] I; send me.

Interestingly enough, a single live coal touched the lips of Isaiah, purging his sin, and removing iniquity.  Then Isaiah Heard the Voice of the Lord.   How long has it been since the we have heard the Voice of the Lord?   Notice, God is asking him, “Who shall go forth in his stead?”  Isaiah responded, Here am I, send me.  The Lord is asking us, who shall go forth in My Name?  When we hear the Lord utter his voice, we shall all stand to our feet in one accord and say, “Here am I, Send Me”

The beauty is that, as in Pentecost, these same elements took place.

Act 2:1  And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Act 2:2  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Act 2:3  And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Act 2:4  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Now hear what the Spirit is saying as I draw the parallel with Ezekiel.

Eze 1:4  And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness [was] about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

Interestingly enough, Amber and Ember, are etymologically the same.  Amber is the color and appearance of an Ember.  But notice now the following.  The living creatures are likened unto burning coals, and like a lamp (or candlestick).  Notice that the entire movement of the living creature is completely in sync with the Spirit.

Eze 1:12  And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; [and] they turned not when they went.

Eze 1:13  As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance [was] like burning coals of fire, [and] like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

Eze 1:14  And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.

Is this not the same as on the day of Pentecost?  The fire that was seen on the people did not burn the people.  People came to see and wonder, “What meaneth this?”

Would it be appropriate to say We are like the Bush that was not burned?   Did not Moses turn aside to see this thing?  For surely, Israel , shall notice when the Lord shall be seen among the Gentiles and shall provoke them to jealousy.

Exo 3:2  And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush [was] not consumed.

This could have some national political parallels as well mirroring what is taking place in the Spirit.

Now look again, for just as the church was birthed on the day of Pentecost, notice prophetically the birth of the Man Child called “Shining One, ie. Samson”.

Jdg 13:20  For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on [it], and fell on their faces to the ground.

Jdg 13:21  But the angel of the LORD did no more appear to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he [was] an angel of the LORD.

Jdg 13:22  And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God.

Jdg 13:23  But his wife said unto him, If the LORD were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have shewed us all these [things], nor would as at this time have told us [such things] as these.

Jdg 13:24  And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the LORD blessed him.

Jdg 13:25  And the Spirit of the LORD began to move him at times in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshtaol.

Samson, means Sunlight, rising Sun, Morning Sun, Brilliant one.    Prophetically, Samson was weak in the flesh, but strong in the Spirit. Prophetically, Samson loved not his life unto death.   This is very rich in symbolism.  Now look at the parallel.

Hos 6:1  Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

Hos 6:2  After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

Hos 6:3  Then shall we know, [if] we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter [and] former rain unto the earth.

Do you remember that I said the Voice of the Lord shall be heard, Notice the Voice.  Notice the Birth.  Notice that a Nation is born in the day of travail, or Labor.  Labor Day?

Isa 66:5  Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

Isa 66:6  A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.

Isa 66:7  Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.

Isa 66:8  Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? [or] shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

Isa 66:9  Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut [the womb]? saith thy God.

Let me proceed in explanation.  When God pours out his Spirit, it shall be to those who fear him, a garden of Eden before them.  But to those who are wicked shall be as stubble.   Fire proceeds forth out their mouths.

Joe 2:3  A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land [is] as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

Joe 2:4  The appearance of them [is] as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.

Joe 2:5  Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

Joe 2:11  And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp [is] very great: for [he is] strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD [is] great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

Now look at the parallel:

Rev 11:3  And I will give [power] unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

Rev 11:4  These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Rev 11:5  And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

Rev 11:6  These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

Now realize and understand that God shall take and measure the temple, (his body).

Eph 4:11  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

Eph 4:12  For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Eph 4:13  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Let me interject:

Rev 11:1  And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God , and the altar, and them that worship therein.

Let me also say that the Aramaic word for Measure also means Anoint.  The interesting point to be made here is that the Temple of God receives an Anointing.  This anointing is the same as in Daniel:

Dan 9:24  Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Perhaps this will drive it home.  The word for “The most Holy”, is the same word translated as “Saints” in Deu 33:2.

Deu 33:2  And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand [went] a fiery law for them.

Deu 33:3  Yea, he loved the people; all his saints [are] in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; [every one] shall receive of thy words.

Is this not declaring that God shall anoint his Saints?

Psa 23:5b  … thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Eph 4:14  That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Eph 4:15  But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ:

Eph 4:16  From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Here are some more instances of the fire and flame.

Oba 1:17  But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.

Oba 1:18  And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be [any] remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken [it].

Heb 1:7  And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits (wind), and his ministers a flame of fire.

When the wind of the Spirit shall blow upon the saints, the saints shall be as a flame of fire in a coal that glows with brilliance at the moving of the wind.

Mal 4:1  For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

Mal 4:2  But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Mal 4:3  And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do [this], saith the LORD of hosts.

All I can say is, Are you Ready?

As I said before, in jest, I was pulling September and making it into two words.   Sept – Ember.   Before I began finding some prophetic significance to it, I was off seeing what I could do with October.  I tried Oct – Ober.    Well, Ober came back as a Ober, IN.    So I thought well, perhaps Oct – Tober.  Tober was not found.  However, it suggested Tob which turned out to be the abbreviation for the book of Tobit, a book in the Apocrypha.  Interesting I thought,  So, what is in the book of Tobit?  I hadn’t ever read it.    As I glanced at the first chapter, and thinking I what a wild goose chase I was on that I looked at the first verse in chapter 2 and read.

Tob 2:1
Now when I was come home again, and my wife Anna was restored
unto me, with my son Tobias, in the feast of Pentecost, which is
the holy feast of the seven weeks, there was a good dinner
prepared me, in the which I sat down to eat.

Now I thought, Wow.  Feast of Pentecost?     Knowing that Jesus shall not drink any more from the fruit of the Vine until he drinks it anew with us in his Father’s kingdom, I was reminded of another verse.

Psa 23:5  Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

As we shall drink that Wine of Communion with our Lord in the presence of our enemies, that same wine shall be as judgment to the wicked, and as fire to our enemies.

Will it be this September?  I don’t know.   Will it happen on Labor Day at the 2000 prophetic anniversary of Pentecost?  I don’t know.   I do know that it shall happen suddenly.

1Th 5:3  For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

1Th 5:4  But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

1Th 5:5  Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Mic 4:6  In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted;

Mic 4:7  And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.

Mic 4:8  And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion , unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem .

Mic 4:9  Now why dost thou cry out aloud? [is there] no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.

Mic 4:10  Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion , like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go [even] to Babylon ; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.

Joh 16:21  A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

Joh 16:22  And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

Time will only tell if September 2004 will be prophetically eventful.  Perhaps, Lord willing, it will.  I don’t expect the rapture, per se, but I do expect that God will in one day, call his army to attention, that the world may see the Lord in the midst of the Golden Candlesticks before his glorious return.

Psa 50:1  The mighty God, [even] the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

Psa 50:2  Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.

Psa 50:3  Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

Psa 50:4  He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

Psa 50:5  Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

Psa 50:6  And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God [is] judge himself. Selah.

Psa 87:2  The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

Psa 102:16  When the LORD shall build up Zion , he shall appear in his glory.

Wade

"September when it comes"
Jim Bramlett
Sep 1, 2004

Dear friends:

The legendary singer Johnny Cash died one year ago, on September 12, 2003.  Many years ago, he wrote these lyrics for his wife, June Carter, in the song, "Meet Me in Heaven":

We walked trouble's brooding, windswept hills
And we loved and we laughed the pain away
At the end of the journey, when our last song is sung
Will you meet me in Heaven someday?

He also wrote a song titled, "September When It Comes":

September when it comes.
So when the shadows link them,
And burn away the clouds.
They will fly me, like an angel,
To a place where I can rest.
When this begins, I'll let you know,
September when it comes.

I am reminded of two things.

First, I discovered that many years ago when his life had reached bottom, Johnny Cash had a life-changing encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ in the same cave on the Tennessee River as did David Gant years later in 1992.  David's experience happened to be under water after the cave had been flooded.

Second, a friend reminded me of a message I sent out on July 28, 2002.  Here is part of it:
_____________________

Today, July 28, 2002… the following message was forwarded to me from Cyndee:

"My daughter, Kyla, who was 11 last year, at the time she was carried into the Spirit by the Lord. It was 3 in the morning and she was up and weeping and told me she had been with Jesus and he had told her some things. A lot was personal for the family but there was something Jesus told her that was amazing.   She, to this day, still says Jesus told her, 'I am coming some September.' Now I received this! What it means I don't know for sure, but I will say this, SOMETHING very spectacular is fixing to happen and I am excited and Jesus is in IT!! God also told her that her family, meaning her siblings, and me, her Mother and her Dad, would not die until they all see the coming of the Lord."

So here we are: two years from Kyla's message, and one year from Johnny Cash's departure:

Johnny asked, "Will you meet me in Heaven someday?  September when it comes..."
