"Eyes of the LORD running to and fro..."

I saw something today I had not seen…

If you look up the word eyes and to and fro, you have three scriptures returned….

2Ki 4:35  Then he returned, and walked in the house to and fro; and went up, and stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.

2Ch 16:9  For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of [them] whose heart [is] perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

Zec 4:10  For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel [with] those seven; they [are] the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

It would appear that when you see that Zerubbabel has the plummet with the eyes of the Lord with run to and fro through the whole earth, it would indicate a perfect heart as well. (Not by his own power, but by the Grace given Him).

Curiously, 2 Kings 4:35 contains the same key words as well, linking together a prophetic picture with the prophet Elisha.

Then the keyword stretched {1457h} is only used concerning Elijah and Elisha.

Something to ponder.
