For the most part, I have taken the name of Minneapolis to mean “City of waters”.  But I have been drawn to another possibility as if God has hidden another meaning through a Hebrew origin.

 

Minne = MENE

 

Dan 5:26

This 01836 [is] the interpretation 06591 of the thing 04406: MENE 04484 ; God 0426 hath numbered 04483 thy kingdom 04437, and finished 08000 it.

 

I am drawn to the three words:

 

4483h = set, ordained, numbered

Let me suggest that we not “automatically” assume that TEKEL and UPHARSIN are also intended other than that the Kingdom of this world is soon to become the Kingdom of our God and of His Christ.

 

If it is God’s Kingdom we are speaking of, then God has set and ordained a finished work.  We are in a countdown that rapidly approaches God’s Kingdom on earth.  “A Rock cut out without hands”.

 

I don’t do this very often, but sometimes I feel led to:

Subtracting the kingdom from what is numbered….

 

4483 – 4437 = 46

 

46h = Mighty One (of Jacob)

It is first used speaking prophetically of Joseph…

If I take the subtract the kingdom from finished:

I know there must be something here because I had a very “unusual” invite to a Christian Singles lunch on Sunday to a place I would have never imagined going with a Christian singles group on a Sunday.  Not to make mention of the restaurant, but it had an “owl” for its trademark.  Needless to say, I was going to be out of town, and fortunately the person who planned the event changed the location to a more Christian friendly location.  No worries there.  The lesson learned was more significant than the food at the “other” place.
