Before the 16th century Harvest was the name of the season

Fall became a name for the season and means “to fall from a height” (Satan & demon reference)

It is the time/season in alchemy that it is believed that the Philosopher’s stone is brought to maturity and perfection.  It was believed that this legendary substance could turn inexpensive metals into gold. (this is obviously a falsehood and/or evil, but I mention it since Satan is not a creator but a deceiver).  The truth may be that this may be a time when God plans to turn his elect from ordinary to “extraordinary”.
