"Random Thoughts on September 11, 2007 - September 14, 2007 Watch Period"

What more can be added regarding the much anticipated Watch dates surrounding Rosh Hashana 2007?

The New Moon, which its observance in Jerusalem originally designated the start of the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashana, is predicted to start officially September 11, 12:44 UT.  At 8:46:40 ET which is UT - 4, or 12:46:40 UT, September 11, 2001, Flight 11 crashes into the North Tower of the World Trade Center's 2 Towers.  Six exact years, almost to the minute.  Thought of another way, the next minute actually starts the seventh year.

This was the defining moment that triggered the current War on Terror and saw a coalition made up of the United States, and as of August 23, 2006, in order, Albania, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Poland, Romania, South Korea, and the United Kingdom, for a total of 22 countries, conquer Babylon.  Seventeen other countries had previously at one time or another had troops in Iran as part of the coalition.

This could very well be the last "world empire" to conquer Babylon before the coming of the Lord.  If so, this could give quite a different interpretation to the "traditional" view of what represents the iron and clay in Nebuchadnezzar's statue.  From the US led coalition conquering Iraq/Babylon by the end of April 2003, to Rosh Hashana is right at 1600 days.  1600 days when divided into the number of prophetic (360-day) years comes out to 4.4444444 with the decimal 4 continuing out forever.  More fours, forevermore.

According to:

The New Moon will not be easily visible from Jerusalem however till September 13th.  Which is also the official start of Rosh Hashana according to the computerized Jewish Calendar.

September 13th is the 256th day of the year.  All of our computer systems, interestingly enough, are built around the number 256.  Or, if one looks at a system instead of counting from 1, counting from 0, then 255.  September 12th is the 255th day of the year.  To understand our computer systems basis, think of memory and storage which is measured in bytes, kilobytes, megabytes, and gigabytes.  A byte is 8 bits and can represent 1-256 or one of 256 different ASCII characters.  Another way to put this is the number 2 raised to the 8th power or 256.

For everyone who has been seeing the number four such as 444 and 4:44, 256 is 4 raised to the 4th power.  Or put another way, it is 4 x 4 x 4 x 4.

Now does the Last Trumpet:

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  I Corinthians 15:52

Refer to the last "hurrah" of the Jewish year 5757 which ends at sundown on September 12th, 6:50 PM, DT in Jerusalem?

Or does it refer to the last trumpet blown during the "Rosh Hashana" celebration?  For those that celebrate this as a one day event it would end soon after sunset, September 13th, 6:48 PM DT Jerusalem time.  For what appears to be the larger group who celebrate this as a two day event, it would end September 14th, which sunset is 6:47 PM DT Jerusalem time.  (Technically according to current Jewish current tradition it doesn't end till nightfall which is defined as being 20 minutes to 1 hour after sunset.)

If this starts the 10 days of awe with each day being as a year, then there are several possibilities for counting up to the 10th day of awe or Tishri 10, Yom Kippur.  If the Rapture occurs before sundown September 12th one should count the Jewish year 5767 as year 1 and the year 5776 as year 10 which starts September 14, 2015 and ends October 2, 2016.  If the Rapture occurs during September 13th one should count the year 5768 as year 1 and the year 5777 as year 10 which starts October 3, 2016 and ends September 20th, 2017.  If the Rapture occurs during the second day or September 14th one is now on day 2 so one should count the year 5768 as year 2 and the year 5776 as year 10 which starts September 14, 2015 and ends October 2, 2016.  Of note on this last count is that the start and end date counts both contain September 14th.

Points to Ponder.

Shalom!
